$70 fine should be illegal.
Received a fine to the tune of $80, before my initial time had expired, and I had already extended my time. Absolutely ridiculous and I am disputing the ticket. This is predatory behavior. Will not park in metropolis zones ever again.
It had parking spots, but it was 5x more expensive than a lot 0.25 miles west on Laurel.
The rates are for either 9 hours or 24 hours. There should be an hourly option for downtown visitors.
