DONT PARK THERE! There are NO signs that it’s a paid lot, hidden cameras and will get a ticket in the mail 30-60 days later in the mail. I worked in that area for (usps) that last 5 years and never knew it was a paid lot into there was no street parking and had to get lunch and a little over 30 days later final notice fine by mail with no notice before the final notice
Pulled in to the 20 minute spot to pick up food from Ekiben. Made the mistake of parking earlier than the food was ready, and got a text message from the lot saying I was going to be charged on exit. Utter bull, predatory ridiculousness.
I parked in one of the 20 minute “free” parking spots to pick up Ekiben. They were busy and orders were taking a bit longer than usual, but I was out in 21 minutes. I know this because of the bill I later received from Metropolis with photos of my car entering and leaving the lot. An $8 ticket with $35 of “fees” showed up in my mailbox a month later. Not public parking despite a giant sign saying it is. Sent a shady $40 charge! Deceitful and shady practices. Absolutely shady business
This is the worst, sketchiest parking lot in the entire city. AVOID PARKING HERE AT ALL COSTS.
