Went in with bad cough and shortness of breath along with other flu symptoms. I was concerned about pneumonia. I sat in the waiting room for 6 hours before getting any results. Was never really told what was wrong with me and given prescription for robitussin cough syrup. 5 days later I'm still just as sick. Still have trouble breathing and can't lay down to sleep. This was the worst experience I've ever had here.
Of all my ER visits in my life thus far, this is by far the most pleasant and quick of all. And this visit was definitely a doozy. Broke my ankle. The ER Dr and nurses were all very caring and calming, which I really needed at that time. Thank you for your care Dr Turkowsky and nurses Chelsea and Jamila. Sorry if I got the second name wrong.
Upon entering ER, I was immediately attended by the staff with questions of my condition and what procedures will be done. Per attending ER physician I was scheduled to be admitted but no rooms became available until the next day. During that time the staff made me as comfortable as possible and kept me posted on room availability. At 4:30pm a room became available and I was sent to the 3rd floor, my care team was awesome.
