It has now been over two months since Metronet’s crew came to install service at our home, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. During installation, they tore up our yard, damaged the expansion joint in our sidewalk, and even attempted to run the line directly through our driveway. We were told the fiber line would be bored underground. Instead, the crew hand-dug everything, leaving behind a sloppy, careless mess that still hasn’t been fixed. A lot of outages, poor connections, very unreliable. When it works, yes it's fast, but it's bad enough to not be worth it. I'm switching back to optimum which might have its own issues, but at least it was more reliable.

Two days in a row now we've had techs show up and say that they can't install our Internet. The first time was because MetroNet booked the wrong appointment type and sent the tech out with no equipment. The second because apparently we're not even wired for MetroNet when they told us we were, had no problem taking our money, and sent unprepared techs out twice to try and install it. I moved medical appointments to be there for these techs in their absurd two-hour arrival windows and four-hour installation windows. Look anywh... read more

They're service is awful, it take hours to get ahold of someone then days for them to come out.

I've been using them for the past year and every 3 months or so my internet will go out and they will have to REINSTALL another fiber cable. Issues that have happened: 1. someone else disconnects my line when installing someone else's line and then doesn't put it back online. 2. someone burying another line cuts my line 3. installation incorrect and having to install a completely new line. They arent aware of who or who doesnt have their service, my door was rang the other day asking for me to switch to Metronet... When I al... read more
