They will have you sittingand ignore you! Especially if you have HMO! Been here a whole 6 hrs. Doctor came in and cleared my daughter good to go and still sat an additional 2 hrs with an IV that was not used nor needed! I’m starting to see exactly what’s going on and I’m glad I steared away from the profession! Tired hungry and upset to say the least! Nobody checked on us for 2 whole hrs! I never have to wait long. The medical staff is very friendly and very thorough. They don't just try to patch you up and send you home. They really appear to care. It is my preferred ER for those reasons.

I could only exchange pleasantries in the ER, as the atmosphere was calm and respectful. The doctors and nurses were professional, patient, and kind. Before going to the ER, I had compared MetroHealth to another well-known hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, and I was very impressed with MetroHealth. The ER was clean, peaceful, and well-organized. This was my second visit to their ER, and I received a warm welcome once again. A generally clean and safe location that serves it's basic functions, I'm thankful that the only occasions that I do have to go into the main building is to get blood work drawn for labs about every half-year or so, and to pick up prescriptions. The 'three star' rating is only because I can't give it 2½. While the physical building itself is well maintained, it is somewhat like you're left to your own devices when you walk in through the main building's entrance next to the ED drop-off.
