I've used MTL 3 times over the last 5 years to test a variety of materials in my 1950's house. I confess I might be slightly more worried about asbestos and lead than the average homeowner, but also I don't want my family to get cancer from remodeling the basement, right? That seems like a no-brainer to me. I've had a great experience every time I've worked with MTL and I highly recommend them, especially for homeowners.
