I have seen Dr. Amy Rafuse at Metro Physical Therapy in Rocky Point for two separate injuries over the last five years, with great improvement. Amy is very knowledgable and gives detailed and helpful guidance with the exercises to recover. She'll make you work but she's nice about it. Overall there is a respectful and collaborative vibe among the PT staff and patients, the facility itself is clean, pleasant, and well run. The administrative staff are great with insurance and appointment scheduling.
Alex and Jimmy are amazing going above and beyond for me.
Alex and Frank were knowledgeable, comforting, and encouraging while taking my daughter though her return-to-play protocol after a concussion. They took their time and explained to both my daughter and myself what to expect every step of the way. They were attentive and thorough with my daughter’s recovery. My experience with Metro was very satisfying. Amy worked wonders with helping me with vestibular therapy. And the support staff was very pleasant and courteous.
After having surgery on both on legs for torn patella tendons, I choose Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy in Rocky Point for my rehabilitation. Dr Nicholas Barrios directed my regimen and did an excellent job. Rehabbing following surgery can be difficult, but Nick a superb job of making the prescribed program both fun and enjoyable.
