We've had nothing but positive experiences with Metro Pet Vet downtown. Everyone is so compassionate, and Dr. Savage has been a huge help in navigating care decisions. Our dog LOVES it there.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Savage. When our old boy was diagnosed with cancer she and her team were there every step of the way and showed genuine compassion at the very end. She and the manheim location have been caring for our pets since early 2000s and we wont go anywhere else. Current and future cats will have the pleasure of seeing Dr. Savage for as long as we have them.

You're expected to pay a non-refundable $80 upfront and can only schedule an appointment 2 weeks out as a new client. You can only schedule appointments for 2 weeks out (both new and longtime clients) in general. They lash out when you express negative opinions on their business practices. They care more about the money and saving face than pet care.

The staff and Vet are very nice. But how they the manage the business side is poor. All scheduled appointments have to be 2 weeks out. Which isn't helpful when your pet is experiencing issues that isn't an emergency, but certainly can't wait for 2 weeks either. They expect all new patients to pay $80 upfront just to scheduled an appointment. Along with a laundry list of other things. They're more focused on not being "screwed over" than pet care.
