Chicken and Waffles to die for. Half a chicken with hot honey syrup and strawberry butter. Restaurant, clean and friendly staff. If I'm back in Huntsville, I'm definitely coming back
I generally like Metro diner. The food is good and it certainly has a local following. However, my last visit had a few issues. The 9 grain toast I ordered with my meal was burnt on the edge of every piece. Also, the health rating is currently an 85. I think that is a bit low and I hope to see them raise it in the future. Outside of the toast, my meat lovers omelette was good and the grits were creamy. I do not think you will be disappointed eating here, but it is not the best breakfast I have had.
