I have a 29er MTB. When I got a flat one day, I decided to upgrade my tires to Schwalbe Big Apples (in lieu of just fixing the flat). $120 and an hour later, i was on my way home. 2 days later I'm looking at my bike and realize that something's not quite right. I then realized that my rear disc brake rotor had been replaced. I didn't do it. The only people who touched my bike in over a year had been me and this shop. (Not only was i sure i hadn't done the swap, i don't possess the mechanical skill or tools to torque and true a disc rotor ... but the bike seemed to be stopping ok). Not sure what to do, I waited until I discovered the next flat (same rear tire, with the new tube; five days later). Upon taking out the tube to see what was up, a piece of hard plastic fell out of the inside of the tire (it was what had flattened the tire). That's when i decided it was time to try and get at least an explanation for the disc rotor. I took the bike back to the store, where i was, in no uncertain terms, told that I was 'lucky that i got a new rotor for free.' No apology, no 'i'll look into it'' ... nothing. I was made to feel like i was the one in the wrong. Did I mention that I only went into the store to buy a set of new tires ... NOTHING whatsoever to do with the brakes. Yet i was lucky that I didn't get charged for a rotor that i never asked for (much less gave anyone permission to replace). If you want your bike to have its parts swapped out for lesser components while it's being serviced and then made to feel like a complete idiot for daring to question them ... then this place is for you! The attitude of the people who work in this store for years has been abysmal. I will never again so much as get air in my tires from this place.

Great store, excellent service, good inventory – I've been renting bikes from here for years. The team is smart, helpful and very knowledgable. And they are off the charts on customer service.

Editorial Review – Buy bicycles and accessories from Schwinn, Trek, LeMond, DiamondBack and more; plus bike rentals for racing or recreation.
