Metro Ambulance Service (Bartow County) gave me the worst care I’ve ever experienced on August 3rd, 2024 between the hours of after 11:00pm and 12:00am when they were dispatched to my home. I called 911 having severe heart problems of high blood pressure and a heart rate of 125 to 130 beats per minute. I used to be a first responder and I knew I needed to go to the hospital. Arranged transport from hospital to assisted living for my disabled sister with Metro. Supposed to be at hospital at 4pm, then 7pm, then 830pm, then 9pm … it’s now 945pm and no ambulance. You all should be ashamed. When people need you most, you fail to deliver what you promised. No phone calls. Just sit and wait all night. Terrible service, will be filing complaint with Better Business Bureau and the entity that regulates ambulances in Georgia.
