It’s a grocery store so fairly clean and most staff are friendly but every time I go in there around 10-11 am there are no salads out yet or much for mixed cut fruit. Premade sandwiches are a hit and miss too but I wouldn’t buy them after seeing the person who makes them using her personal cell phone while making them with gloves on. So gross especially when you know hardly anyone cleans their phone.
I did not typically shop at Metro , but i have begun to shop there more and more . I go there to get the specials, any savings on groceries are welcome . I will recommend their prepared meats . Single portions on an aluminium tray , ready for the oven . These are tasty and when you are single or just two - these are the perfect size and well priced. Keep thinking about folks who are on their own . Maybe have a veg tray with 2 potatoes, 2 carrots , 4 Brussels etc... this would help me reduce food waste and save money by not h... read more
Overpriced and continually low on stock for alot of basic items. Also the butchering leaves alot to be desired. Always excess fat and skin left on so they can charge for the weight. Avoid if possible.
