Very Disappointed with Metricon – Poor Communication and Lack of Support I've had a very frustrating experience with Metricon so far. Unfortunately, I’m locked into a contract with them, but their pre-site team has been extremely slow and unhelpful. Built a place in Donnybrook. Sales process was very smooth. Very disappointed with construction service , SS was very unprofessional. It took 6 weeks to fix things things after PCI yet wrong size and material of bench top on handover.Had to call SS at least for a week to get call back , called for a walkthrough and did not show off, identified wrong colour bench top and size during PCI . We recently built in Yarrabilba and our Site manager Joel was the best Site Manager we have had yet. It was our 4th build so we knew what to expect but we are always learning. Joels weekly and fortnightly updates were so clear and encouraging. We never had to wonder what stage our build was at or how any delays were being managed because Joel was always at the fore front of making sure we were communicated with. Absolutely disgraceful office team support in the post sales phase of the project. Their pre-site managers believe they can compare your home to piece of cakes, asking if we would ask for cost of eggs when you buy a cake for all ridiculous costs. Such a disgrace for a team effort and adding on top are their frustrating turnaround for changes and every single time the estimate is given there are at least 5 mistakes and unreasonable costs for which their answer is “It is what it is”.
