Horrible experience, case was moved from Lincoln Financial to Metlife. Unable to connect with Case Manager to move forward with claim. No communication nor sense of urgency.
It feels like Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. is going out of business. I have an extremely hard time getting an agent. Today all I got was a bad connection in the Philippine's and with a different number I got two choices of voicemail, neither of which is the person named on my billing statement!
Phone system is extremely frustrating and to get a simple email of a piece of paper that was already generated that has to be reviewed before it is emailed to me is ridiculous. In my opinion. They told me it's going to take 2 to 3 days for my case specialist to review this piece of paper that was already approved and I need it for my insurance which has been suspended due to my employer not sending me documentation to my union
This review is not for this office location, but Melife in general. I would not wish on my greatest enemy the misery of dealing with Metlife. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH MET. Their online account access seldomly works, their infrastructure is ancient. Every time you call their customer service, allocate a minimum of 1 hour to be sent in circles.
