Waited for over an hour only to have my throat looked at for 5 seconds and told that there is no swelling. The PA did not seem to know how to check for swelling in lymph nodes. Staff seemed pretty condescending and it did not feel like an urgent care but more like a social club. I understand having “work besties” but you may upset some patients if they are waiting to be seen and all they hear outside their door is gossip about someone getting sued, not very professional, so glad I missed work for this experience.
Went there with what I presumed was a bleeding hemorrhoid. Just wanted them to check my bloodwork to see if it had been going on for a while. They said that I needed to go to Emergency Room without interviewing me, taking a history from me or anything. I think she was afraid that she would have to look at my rectum and didn’t want to do that. I asked her if they can take blood for labs there and she said “no”.
