I came in for a lip laceration on my 2.5 year olds upper lip by ambulance. We got into a room very quickly. The nurses were great. The P.A. (Physician Assistant) came in and I begged him to sedate her in anyway to be able to complete the stitch/stitches without traumatizing her because of her age (she had no clue what was going on or what was about to happen). My eighty five year old grandmother sat in the lobby for 2 hours with her left leg, not working at all. After we did get a room and waited several hours.Then they came in and said that they were sorry that they didn't know what was wrong with her leg.And said that she needed to go to her primary doctor. Why in the world would you not admit someone of that age with a leg not working at all to do more research to see what the problem truly is. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS ER AT ALL THEY MADE MY GRANDMOTHER WAIT INTO AN ER ROOM FOR 3 DAYS DIDN'T EVEN OFFER HER ANYTHING TO EAT AND THE NURSES VERY VERY RUDE AND EASILY IRRITATED ALL I WANTED TO KNOW WAS HOW SHE WAS DOING AND AFTER 3 DAYS IN THIS ER THEY FINALLY PUT HER IN CCU THEN THEY KEPT HER OVERNIGHT IN CCU THEN THEY DISCHARGED HER HOME WITH A UTI SICKER THAN WHEN SHE WENT IN THEY NEED TO EITHER GET NEW STAFF OR SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO BECAUSE YOU'LL GET TREATED WORSE THAN A... read more
This is my second time in the Er in 2 weeks. The first time I was placed on a ventilator and because of the amazing care of the doctors and nurses I survived an almost un-survivable allergic reaction which made me look like a blue umpaloompa. Today I had to return to the ER due to breathing difficulties and high fever. My nurse was Kenya and she was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
