BEWARE! Methodist lost its contract with their anesthesiology provider in early 2024 and are now using travelling anesthesiologists from who knows where. I had vocal cord surgery at Methodist Germantown in September of 2024, this month. Dr. John Touliatos had nicked my vocal cord nerve while performing thyroid surgery back in 2021 and paralyzed one of my vocal cords. I shouldn't even give them 1 star the worst experience I've ever had in a hospital. Checked my vitals when I first went in I was there 7 hours when I told the nurse what I had she was totally dumbfounded the new nurse explained it was a rare staff infection. I had been fighting for a month. They did labs and urine and a cats can of my abdomen.
