I was fairly apprehensive about going to this ER based on the 1.5 rating but I was lucky surprised. I arrived to the emergency department via ambulance on 5/13/26 and was assessed rather quickly. They had a triage area set up for the ambulance arrivals that had everything you could think of in hands reach for the nurse. They went over everything and after maybe 10-15 minutes I was moved to a hall bed as they were pretty busy. This ER is a health hazard in every sense of the word. Beyond the total dysfunction and apathy of the staff, the facility itself is unsanitary and dangerous. I observed visible blood and human fluid residue on the patient room chairs—a blatant violation of basic biohazard protocols. After 8 hours with a serious medical emergency I had yet to even speak with a doctor. The staff is openly annoyed by patient presence and clearly indifferent to the risks of infection or medical neglect. This is not healthcare; it is a travesty.
They confiscated my clothes at intake along with my other personal items. When I was discharged, I got back my personal items, not my clothes.
The Nurses were great, so I feel bad giving a 1 star review, but the Doctor we saw, the security guards, the custodians, and the facility itself are pitiful. Dr. ordered tests that had been performed 3 hours earlier because he didn't bother to look at the chart, security just sat there while an irate man was running around the waiting room cursing, the bathrooms had no toilet paper for over 3 hours and the waiting room is filthy.
