My visit to this emergency department with my husband was incredibly disappointing and concerning. This is a transplant hospital, where infection prevention and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment should be a top priority. The triage nurse was caring, welcoming, and apologetic about the conditions. I do not recall her name. She repeatedly apologized for the odor and explained that they were working to address the issue.
