To be honest, this is a very hard review to write. In our city, we only have just the one hospital. In saying this, people think that you want the hospital to be shut down. That’s quite the opposite. I’d like to see the hospital revamped with the medical staff needed that have empathy and want to heal people of their sicknesses, and listen to the input of their patients. I have never been a pt at Gary Methodist until a couple days ago, that will be my last time as a pt. Was transported by paramedics, which was cool, triage nurse was sweet as pie. When I got to the ER, forgot to mention I was in hallway 1, not a room for the 6 hours I was there. You would have thought I was a science experiment, 2 nurses started at me the whole time, one looking at me and eating for like an hour.
