This ER puts the meanest people at the front desk. The receptionists and nurses at the check-in desk have no idea how to communicate kindly with patients. These people may be used to seeing life and death, but they show no compassion for ordinary patients. They really need more training — at the very least, to act like decent human beings. I will never, ever go to this ER again!
I visited 9/29/2025 at 10PM. Waiting room was full of sick people waiting to be helped, 3 security guards kept laughing instead of doing their jobs or taking anything remotely seriously, and they had terrible attitude problems. And I appreciate the PA that saw me; it was very reassuring to know my concerns were being heard and he did not get upset when I asked qu... read more
I came into the ER on 9/15/25 and my first point of contact was the reception nurse Jonathan S. Unfortunately, the interaction was not positive. He spoke in a condescending manner and seemed dismissive when I asked questions, which made me feel uncomfortable during an already stressful time. I think patients deserve to be treated with respect and understanding, especially in emergency situations. Improving communication and showing empathy would be a good start.
