I had respect for Methodist in the past. At this point I wouldn’t ever return to their ER again. My fiancée went in to be seen as his tonsils have been swollen and it was now affecting his swallow. They didn’t allow me to go back with him for over 20 minutes, they didn’t listen to him in regards to anxiety at all, and they didn’t explain anything to him until I was in the “room” with him demanding a plan or answers as we don’t have insurance due to just moving here. My 79 year old mother wasn’t diagnosed with a concussion at her ER visit. Only at her primary care follow up was she heard. Yes, a 79 year old who falls can have a concussion even with brain atrophy.

Currently here for a deadlifting injury to my lower back. The staff have been extremely nice and helpful. Wait times have been non existent almost. MRI tech was so helpful with getting me comfortable for the procedure. Nurse Kenzie has been just as great, bringing heat packs and consistently checking on me. Doc was very knowledgeable and gave me great care and advice on recovery. Best ER honestly the quality of the rooms are better than some hotel rooms. Also they were able to get to me really quickly and explained everything perfectly and why they were doing it.

For the first time in my life, I had to go to the ER 3 times within a 2mo span. That's scary enough on each individual moment. The first was gratefully a PVD, not retinal detachment, on a Sunday. Urgent care told me to go there due to my flashes. The staff was super kind and understanding. The second was bell's palsey. My face was sideways and I cannot thank that staff enough for their treatment and kindness to me. This was also a Sunday. They had me in CT scans within the hour.
