When I arrived at the ER I was told there were no beds available. After a short time I was placed in an ER room where I had to stay for 2 days. Patients were being placed on beds along the walls of the corridor. I had a situation in which I needed a restroom quickly. At one point I used the nurses button to have a nurse disconnect the IV, had to call 3 times over a 30 minute time. I was taken care of promptly, reassured and felt a lot better when I left.
Never go to the ER during the day they treat you like garbage. If this is how insured patients are treated, I can only imagine how it is for those without insurance. Kelly, maybe think about a different career path. No one’s forcing you to stay a CNA or whatever role you’re in, along with the one working next to you.

The time frame to be seen by a physician wasn’t too long. The nurses at the registration window were professional, friendly, and attentive to your concern. The personnel over all were exceptional in treating the needs of those who needed to be seen. The diagnosis and treatments were shared to you in most simplest form for you to understand the expectations to follow to recover in a timely manner.
