Dr. Shane is one of the best dentists I've ever had! He makes me feel comfortable, is trusting, and is very thorough in his work. I always look forward to my appts because of him!

If you live in South Brooklyn you should really just make Dr. Shane your dentist and call it a day. I feel so taken care of in his hands, and i know he's looking at the full picture before deciding my treatment plan. Quality human being, too. Just an example of the level of care and attention he gives: he learned that my insurance switched to one that's in-network and knew that there is no limit on the number of teeth cleanings they cover each year. Dr. Shane is great. He takes the time to get to know you and your dental needs. Asked questions, and listened to answers. He personally cleaned my teeth with an assistant helping with suction. Probably one of the best cleanings I've ever had. No pain. No blood. Just white teeth and I had some bad stains from coffee and red wine that he removed. He didn't push procedures. I have gotten so used to feeling like I'm sitting on a conveyor belt when I go to the dentist, as efficient as it might be, is a bit of a detached experience. Dr. Methal and his whole staff made me feel comfortable in a way where even during my first ever visit, it felt like I was a long time patient. Time was taken to discuss my x-rays, answer questions, and provide suggestions without feeling like I was pressured.
