Inexcusable Quality of Care - I arrived around 4 pm, needed a simple procedure, reinstall my midline for IV antibiotics. It took them an eye popping 18 hours to do a 10 minute procedure. An Indian doctor came in and began telling me they were admitting me because my sodium was extremely low. Really? Seriously? How is that possible? They never drew blood or took a urine sample. Missed a single $100 payment on my payment plan and now they sent a letter that I owe the full $4,600 in two weeks, so I guess I’ll be homeless next month! Thanks KU Med for overcharging and NOT working with me on any sort of assistance! One bad month and now I’d better cough up the full amount. Very discouraging. I might as well give up 😔
People so very kind. Dr. mcknelly really made his mark with so very much caring understanding and kindness.
