If I could I would leave this man negative stars I absolutely would. I understand that other patients may have had excellent care by this doctor but that was definitely not the case for me and my fiancé. We went to Holston Valley with my him having stroke like symptoms, we expected excellent care and compassion but what we received was being rushed in and out. I went into the ER early in the a.m. with the worst pain I've ever been thru. Dr. Metcalf and the staff were efficient and this was the quickest ER visit I have EVER had. I was impressed,
Best dr ever of anywhere... wish he had a private practice...great bedside manners, listening skills plus very knowledgeable ... didn't make going to er a bad experience at all..I rate him 10 stars
