We hired Metcalf to move our business from our home to a commercial building. We had a team of 3 help us and everything went very smoothly. We are hiring them again to help us with a 2nd project. They showed up on time, were efficient, and got the job done without incident and quicker than estimated.

Stay far away from this company. First, they messed up the delivery of my cross-country move by delivering my belongings piecemeal. Next, they did $5,000 of damage to artwork and thousands of damage to my flooring. Furthermore, their idea of unpacking (which I paid extra for) entailed their workers not looking at the room where the box was supposed to go and simply turning it upside down wherever they pleased -- including tons of liquids that stained my bedroom carpet and exacerbated an ant situation that the company brought... read more

Very disappointed. The moving staff were professional and came on time. Our move was from Boston, MA to Rochester, MN. We did two virtual visits and the quoted price was 3K (one container). However, the final price ended up being 5K because their assessment of the materials was not accurate and they completely hid the final price. There was no wiggle room on this price. I would recommend using a company that is much more transparent about quotes and will not spring a sudden $2000 charge on you.
