Metcalf team has come out twice for small jobs and once to give an estimate on a large project. I had to wait on the large project, but the price seemed fair. The two smaller jobs were fairly priced and well done. I would highly recommend.
After hiring electricians over the course of decades of home ownership, I finally found an electrician who gets it right the first time. I had a couple of outdoor outlets powering sump pumps that were critical to keeping my house from flooding during the rainy season. They intermittently stopped working when I needed them most. After having Metcalf Electric visit my home a number of times for many different things (switches, outlets, lighting, ceiling fans, impossible doorbells, etc.) I have to say that they provide very quality work. Sam and John are unbelievably creative and talented. They really did an outstanding job on this place. They never gave up on some of the more difficult items I threw at them. Really great guys too. Metcalf Electric will be my "go-to" electricians from here on out.
Cannot recommend them enough! They are clean workers who do everything possible to finish the job correctly. They were very responsive to emails and phone calls.
I write this unfortunate review to try and warn others in their search for honest and skilled electrical companies. My concerns are based on: 1. Actual poor electrical work 2. Incompetent team and lack of proper oversight 3. Inappropriate interactions with Kurt, team leader 1. Poor electrical work (pictures). My colleague gave rave reviews for Norman (owner), however Kurt was in charge of the work at my house, and perhaps that is where the fault lies.
