I appreciated that the technician didn't make the situation complicated. He explained the issue in plain language and handled the necessary service efficiently.
After coordinating with building management, the technician efficiently repaired our HVAC system by replacing a faulty capacitor and cleaned the coils within an hour. Having dealt with slow responses in the past, it was refreshing to see a more punctual approach this time around.
Installed thermostat efficiently, no issues.
The issue turned out to be a clogged exhaust vent, which the technician from this company resolved in about an hour after the previous service failed to correctly identify it. His careful inspection and explanation of the portable unit's needs left me more confident in their approach compared to the first opinion I sought.
The first company rushed through the vent cleaning and left dust behind, while this technician took his time inspecting each duct over the course of an hour. He also identified a minor blockage that the previous team had overlooked, improving airflow significantly.
