I put Metalgear front rotors on my 1988 BMW K100RS as they were far cheaper than any alternatives. Consequently I didn’t have high hopes, but I was wrong! They took a while to bed down but after they did, they are excellent. So when I needed a rotor for my scooter, I also got a Metalgear. This time it was not cheapest option, but it was slightly thicker than others (including the OEM), so well worth the extra money. I’ll keep buying these rotors for my bikes in future. I felt confident from the first phone contact with Caitlyn, that Metalgear knew their stuff. When I turned up with my disc, we discovered that somewhere in the past a different disc had been fitted - not a wrong disc, but not the recommended one. Bernie had a look and showed me the difference and also pointed out that my disc carrier was warped. He offered a quick turnaround for the refurb and I'm so glad I listened - the disc fitted up perfectly! Can I give them ten stars?
