The kayaks are well loved, but the service is excellent. The owner is a really down to earth guy who is a pleasure to deal with. He has a bus that comes to pick you and the kayaks up down river once you are done. The view on the ride is nice. About as easy of a kayak ride as one could take.
Worth every penny. Owner is a great individual, would recommend each and everyday.
We rented a canoe from Jack at Metacomet Canoe and Kayaks last year and had a blast. Today we rented Kayaks. Loved it. The river is calm and serene. Great quiet location which, as a beginner, I definitely appreciated. Will be back soon.
