We rented a canoe from Jack at Metacomet Canoe and Kayaks last year and had a blast. Today we rented Kayaks. Loved it. The river is calm and serene. Great quiet location which, as a beginner, I definitely appreciated. Will be back soon.
I cannot say enough good things about Jack and Metacomet Tours. He readily helped my friend and me getting our kayaks onto the roof of our vehicle. We weren't even a customer and he was happy to help us. I will be spreading the word about what an upstanding company this is. Thank you, Jack!

Spent an amazing 3.5 hours kayaking here on a perfect day! We saw plenty of heron and even a couple bald eagles! I especially love that the rate is for the whole day instead of by the hour, so you don’t have to watch the clock to get back by a certain time, you can just relax and enjoy the river. Jack is so kind and welcoming. We’ll be back!
Called them and left a message with my name, number and a couple of questions. Never heard back. Pretty rude. I'll take my money elsewhere.
