I had a very poor experience with my ADHD assessment at Metapsychiatry with Dr. Prashwas Thapa. The process felt transactional and rushed — little conversation, no real explanation of what the diagnosis meant for me, and no discussion of how ADHD might affect my life. I felt listened and acknowledged. Although I disagreed with some aspects of the diagnosis, I am happy with the honesty of the psychiatrist and the potential confounding factors that he mentioned. Dr Thapa is an experienced psychiatrist and acknowledged my previous bad experiences with other psychiatrists.
