MetLife is great, I totaled my car and I received my check very promptly, the person I dealt with over the phone was very professional.
MetLife, in my experience, was far better at maintaining a professional tone than delivering timely, meaningful claim resolution. The issue was not just one delay — it was the pattern: repeated “pending” status, more requests, vague updates, and a process that seemed to stretch on without clear justification. The claim process takes forever, they sit on paperwork, request the same paperwork 4 times, don’t read emails, and I cancelled my policy due to this! I’m still waiting for my claim to be paid 2 months later! Horrible company! Do better!
