an oasis in what is otherwise a food desert
expensive and their meat/produce is never fresh. however, it's the only store in the neighborhood
I have been shopping here for twenty years and before the neighborhood gentrified people used to come to buy things here. It was very reasonable, but no longer!!! This place has gotten ridiculously overpriced even with inflation. Fruits and vegetables are now twice the price of many places in the neighborhood. Last week I saw they increased the entire section of chocolate chips like 50% overnight. So now it’s like $8-12 for a bag when previously $4. I never buy much here anymore. Better to go elsewhere!
