I would never buy anything from Mesquite Valley Growers because of your radio personality named "Mary". She has the most irritating voice I have ever heard. Every time she comes on the radio I turn it off as I cannot stand to listen to her voice!!!!

Fabulous nursery for native and desert plants Mesquite Valley is an expansive and impressive nursery, with seemingly every variety of desert plant possible! The vast selection of trees alone is almost overwhelming. Thank goodness for the incredibly knowledgable staff, who are more than willing to help you select the plants that will best suit your needs. All the plants at Mesquite are healthy and in beautiful condition. While the prices are higher than what you might pay at a chain retailer, like Target or Lowe's, the qualit... read more

Best nursery around Tucson! If you want quality plants, this is the place for you. They have everything you could possibly want or need and maybe a few you never heard of. But the staff is helpful and friendly. They care for the plants there on the grounds. I also recommend the fertilizer that they have created as well. It is great for the soil here in Tucson. I have not had any problems with my plants that I have bought from them and have some really unheard of fruits too. This is a must stop at place if you are looking to ... read more

High-quality plants and knowledgable employees This nursery has a huge selection of high-quality plants at reasonable prices. The employees are extremely knowledgable and can help you with any gardening question you have. There is also a store here that sells plant care products, garden decorations, lots of colored glass, chimes, and more! Even if you don't want to buy any plants, it's fun just to walk among the flowers.

Great nursery This is such a wonderful nursery to go to. The employees are so incredibly helpful and friendly. My husband and I were trying to decide what type of tree to purchase for our front and backyard and they spent so much time with us talking about all the trees. They are so knowledgeable about desert plants. The only drawback for us is that they are way across town from us on east Speedway.

The Place to go! I drive by Mesquite Valley daily on my way to work, and there never is a time when I don't want to go in. They have an amazing variety of plants, coupled with an extremely knowledgable staff. Whether you are looking for something new or are having trouble keeping something you've had alive, they can lead you in the right direction.

Purchased a meyer lemon tree last spring. Left one fruit on it and let it ripen. Not a meyer lemon... Some sort of navel orange? We also purchased an orange tree that we discovered was half root stock. (My husband didn’t know that when he bought it.) We removed all the immature fruit from it so I’m not sure exactly what we will get when it gives fruit again. Not happy.
