I bought a Ranger 2950dx from this guy, peaked and tuned... he said. Great ssb radio..he said and it might be. The way he "tuned" it.. The radio is off frequency, floats all over the place and many of the features have been disabled. Granted if you want a ham radio go to a ham shop. This radio is so off..it doesnt even comply with fcc cb specs. My mistake was going to a questionable cb guy when what I wanted a ham radio. Beware!
These guys are great! Affordable pricing, quality work, and quick turn-around. I will be using them for everything now.
They do not honor their posted hours. Left work early to get there well before advertised 1800 closing time, and they had closed around 5 pm. Had even spoken with them on the phone, and was told if they were busy they might lock the doors at 5:45, but led to believe that at 1700 - 1715, they WOULD be open. They lost my business.
Decent work very over priced in my opinion
