Hard to believe that concessions can't establish a system to accept debit/credit in 2016. On top of that, the ridiculously small section for concessions yielded a healthy and considerable wait to get any kind of food and beverage. Unless there's a band playing here I really care for, I'll likely avoid this venue in the future.
The amphitheater is one of my favorite small venues to see shows. That being said, we waited in line for an hour to get a drink. By the time we got to front of line, they were out of beer and wine. Terrible! Also the line to women's restroom was a mile long. Really not impressed.
Ridiculous $9 ADDITIONAL service charge for tickets! Tickets for the ALTAZ Ugly Sweater Concert were already pricey at $63 but then to add that additional $9 by Mesa Amphitheater was killer :( the lines to get a drink are ridiculous! They should allow blankets. All of that is the bad. Love the venue & acoustics.
Love the venue, but the efficiency in operations for a show is awful. The security process is a complete waste of man power. Two guards for the 2 of 4 security lines for men stood doing nothing while the women's line was at least 100 deep and took far too much time. Concessions were also way too slow.
My favorite concert venue in Phoenix! Great place to see your favorite band.
