Wonderful Stopped at Mertie's looking for some authentic strudel and was very pleased at not only the service but also the delicious taste. I even bought 4 more to cook at home. I will return to the other side of town again to purchase more in the future.
Very special! We don't get in this area very often but whenever we do get in the Parma area we do our best to get to Mertie's to get some wonderful Hungarian strudel. There's nothing like it anywhere. DO try stopping in at least once and I guarantee you'll be back for more.
Hungarian strudel like mama used to make. Mertie is truly a treasure. Her strudel today is as good as I can remember it was over forty years ago when she baked with her mother-in-law. She has certainly kept the old country tradition and highest quality going.The authentic all-time favorite fillings like apple, cherry, cheese, and apricot are there and Mertie has added a few new ones too.
