So thankful for Mersey Community Hospital, especially to Dr. Angela (Anzhela) and the ER staff — Nurse Keeley, Caroline, etc. who cared for my daughter with such kindness and attention. They explained everything so clearly and made sure we understood what was happening, which really reassured us. Even though we’re from the mainland and not TAS locals, we felt so well looked after. Truly the best service — we’re very grateful!

I had the unfortunate experience of Mersey Community Hospital, and after my experience I will warn others of the lack of care. I presented to ED on Friday the 22nd August under the advice from my GP, relating to rectal bleeding. The initial wait between ED reception, nurse check in and first consult with a doctor wasn't bad, only a 90 or so minute wait. My first doctor, I cannot thank her enough. What a joke of a hospital. For someone with a brain cyst and major headaches they make you wait in the waiting room for 3 hours with no sign of seeing a doctor

My 5 year old had surgery on friday, I cant thank the day ward and theatre people enough. The compassion and love we both received was amazing, from the time we walked out off the lift, my little boy was made feel so comfy. The two lovely nurses, Morgan and Amelia were bloody amazing, even staying later as my little one was very agitated, and they wanted to get to the bottom of the problem. Thanks so much.
