I have been calling the centre constantly to follow up an application that I filled out in January to access my health care records. They keep telling me that the mental health team is either in meetings, lunch break or they are not answering the phones. And they tell me to call back or they call me back and they never do. They don't care about children
Don't know if it's just because its the holidays but twice now I've called and the switch board/reception have been so rude and unhelpful. I asked for a 6-8 weeks check for my newborn and was told everything's booked out and to see the GP. When I advised that I was told by THEIR nurse I should see them as well as the GP, I was offered February. I said "Don't bother I'll go somewhere else". They then offered to put me on a waitlist. Not worth the time it takes to go see them, they do not know how to deal with (new) babies with food allergies. Would have been better off just seeing babies paediatrician. They are just here to tick the boxes, so if anything goes wrong with baby it’s not on them.
They helped my girl baby with speech therapy, and now I think I'm going to bring her to counselling because I think she has adhd
