always great. at least 20 years using Merryfield for my dogs. They love animals. They answer the phone right away, and are prompt answering questions. It's always clean. what more could you want?

THIS IS THE WORST PLACE FOR PETS EVER!!!!! Everyone, accept the male owner, are RUDE, and they do not care about your pet. They are in a ridiculously OLD facility, I was afraid to keep my pet there overnight due to the horrible conditions. And they could not find the records for my dog! DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!!

Wow, I'm surprised by these reviews. I've been going to Merryfield since 2008 and have only had good experiences. Perhaps some of the front staff have reserved personalities, and the facilities are no-frills, but that's a sign they're putting their $ into care rather than wallpaper & junk. They don't have a hi-tech scale, e.g., but why do they need one? They don't do unnecessary tests, they don't use awful emotional pressure tactics to "sell" unnecessary services, they're kind, and they've always taken good care of my cats.

The title says it all. I could look past the building in severe need of repairs (although I do worry about how up to date surgical equipment is) but I can NOT ignore the RUDE unhelpful staff that seem to know nothing about animals. I will never bring my animals here again. I will point out that the vet himself wasn't rude. He wasn't overly friendly, but I have no complaints about him.

Nurses are not friendly, doctors are rude and doesn't care about my dog at all! My dog was scared to death. What more can I say? I will never go back even though they are the last vet on earth. yes, that bad.

This is the worst animal hospital I've ever used. After bringing in my cat for months, during which time I was told, "he didn't have diabetes, he was just getting old, kidneys seemed ok,"(he had lost 11lbs)I was told "This is a sick cat and he's probably going to die." Two nights later he did. The man doctor was rude, uncaring, and didn't wash his hands- ever. The woman doctor was nice but ineffective.
