About Us Merry Christmas Tree Farm opened in 1990, 5 years afer the Doles started planting on their 40 acre tract. The business became an alternative to an "on the side job" that had proved troubling to Mullins. "I grew cows and they were always getting out. I figured trees wouldn't". Thus we were on our way to creating family traditions and cherised memories for customers choosing and cutting their own trees. The Doles plant more than 1,500 trees every year.
