I absolutely LOVE Dr G and her staff!! We recently had to put our beloved Champ down after 13 wonderful years due to cancer. Dr G was also approaching her maternity leave but made sure I knew she’d help us throughout this difficult time. She even made a trip to our house and answered many concerned phone calls during our last days with him. It truly meant the world to me how she helped us!! Do not take your injured animal to either Dardanelle vet clinics. They don't want to be bothered with them. Just kill the animal and put it out if it's misery
Recommendedthis is the best vet around..my little Annie got snake bit in the eye and it had to be removed...she swelled up so much we almost lost her... Dr Merritt did the surgery and plus kept her for 2 nights..the entire bill was less than $500. The animal hospital in LR wanted $900 a night for 3 nights..that's $2700..then the surgery was going to be $1500...then I was also going to have to pay for the drs fees and his workers fees...they didn't care about my Annie..they are in it just for the money...if anyone has any questions abou... read more
When my male Pyrenees got attacked by a wild hog on a Sunday we brought him straight in and they met us here and took care of him for two days! Hoss came home and healed up real good! Thanks Dr. Richardson for coming in on Sunday and Thanks to Meritt Animal Clinic for taking care of my big baby! As much pain he was in they told me he didn't even offer to bite while they worked on him! I recommend this animal clinic any day!
Best vet we have ever used ! Patient, friendly. Will never use another one
I can’t say enough about how great Merritt Animal Clinic is! When we had a late night emergency with our dog Merritt’s and Tanner’s were the only clinic to get back to us. Since the two clinics work together we were able to quickly get our dog’s information during the emergency and he made a full recovery. None of the 24hr clinics in Russellville, Dardanelle, or Morrilton would answer us or call us back- even the next day. We will never use anyone else!
They are wonderful. They are great people, they go out of their way to be helpful, and the level of care is excellent.

I have been going here for years and even volunteered there 1 summer. I can honestly say I trust them completely with whatever I bring them including my personal pets. I've never once been turned away and they are always honest about every situation which is so important. I would and do recommend them all the time.
