Can no longer get into my account, I have to jump through a bunch of Bank of America hoops. What happened to this great company? I wanted to withdraw some money after the stock market went up but now it’s going to crash again and I can’t get my money out !!!
It's not suppose to be withdrawn until retirement time if not there are penalties for early withdrawals.
They make it as hard as possible when you decide to withdraw your money but when it comes to their high management fees they are all technological, online and prompt. I have used other companies for 401K and withdraw was so customer friendly. But Merrill Lynch is trying to punish you and makes you regret your decision by making the process as hard and as ridiculous as possible. Horrible business practices and horrible customer service. Unless you have no option because of 401K by your company stay away for your sanity.
