I will be moving into Merrill Gardens at Rockridge soon. I chose this place because of it's convenient location near Rockrdge BART, Rockrdige library, along with many shops & cafes along College Ave. I have been working with Christian S., Community Relations Director, for over a year to secure an apt. I rarely leave long reviews, but I had to make sure that people know this one. So I took my time to write a well deserving one. I am a frequent visitor to a friend at Merrill Gardens Independent Living, and during a recent visit, I had the opportunity to tour the memory care community. I was appreciative of my in-person introduction to the apartments, programs and benefits of Merrill Gardens at Rockridge. Manager Christian Saysourivong was respectful, informative, and never patronizing in answering questions and providing information. My daughter and I left the facility feeling that this is a place I should seriously consider when the time comes to make a move to senior housing.
