Just over 2 years ago I walked into Merrill Gardens - Renton, for a tour. And it happened to be on a Saturday morning which is donut-day. My reaction was a combination of happiness and sadness. Happiness at the sight of the residents lined up and teasing the person handing out the donuts (trying to finagle more donuts) and just the playful banter.
