Had to replace the roof after hail/wind damage, and dealing with insurance companies is an activity I like not at all. After engaging Jim Merrick to inspect the roof, he took impeccable notes and detailed photographs. This became incredibly important, since the insurance company sent out an inspector who essentially phoned-in the entire inspection with minimal effort and completely inaccurate results. Caused damage to home from faulty install, sent out a guy to fix and verify issue from install and Merrick accepted responsibility…. But still have damage to my house… said he would send over a guy to fix the drywall….still have a massive whole in my kitchen wall…and that doesn’t include damage behind the wall/siding that I can’t see. And this was all discussed with Merrick since January… I last sent a text June… thought I found a roofer I could rely on, guess I was wrong.
