Dr. Henry Merola has been my primary care physician for years. He is knowledgeable and compassionate. He gives each patient his undivided attention. Great doctor!
The bad reviews are accurate. Unfortunately for me I didnt check them until 15 minutes before my appointment. The doctor was hours behind and had an overbooked schedule. I was told it is a normal occurence after 10am at this office. Apparently the scheduling service is part of the problem. They also mischeduled my appointment to a different time than we agreed to. I had to cancel and change PCP.
Very good doctor to be honest, seemed to really care about my health. BUT, you will wait 4+ hours to see him after your appointment time. He didn't fill a prescription when I went to see him, and no one answers the phone. So I'll unfortunately have to go to another doctor after wasting a work day to see him. Too bad.
Thank god I don’t have a life threatening health condition otherwise I would’ve died waiting for my appointment with Dr. Merola. My first appointment for a basic physical to which I was 20 min late and the receptionist said I lost my spot even though there were people from an hour before me waiting to be seen. 2nd appointment that I rushed to get there in time - I waited 2.5 hours. Was asked to do a whole bunch of tests. Waited for 2 months to get an appointment. I got there in time and was told I’m looking at a 3 hour wait ... read more
