I'm a 70 year old lady who was bitten by her cat last night and my arm is now swollen and sore. As I live in Mermaid Beach and have a DVA gold card I called for an emergency consult. He refused to see me as I'm not a regular patient even though it was urgent and I lived close by and his surgery is not busy. Not impressed with his medical caring for his community at all. I was told to go to the hospital.
