In response to Julie’s response to my wife’s review below. While Julie says our claims are inaccurate or misleading, they state facts and our genuine feelings after our interaction with this company. We are not difficult people to please. This is the only 1-star review I’ve left for any business. Any catering company can provide ‘good’ food and staff for an event. If you want a caterer that will stress you out while planning a wedding, go with mermaid catering. First, off, they charged me a $468 fee because I changed my wedding venue and date( I made this change 8 months in advance). I thought it was insane to be charged that much for a fee that goes towards nothing, but I paid it because it was the only thing holding us back from our dream wedding venue. I waited as long as possible to write this review hoping that the owner would resolve our situation but have had no response. December 2025 10 days before Christmas my father-in-law passed away. I contacted the owner and asked for Mermaid Catering to provide FULL SERVICE along with food for our gathering at my home following the memorial service.
